This company makes contracts with several major rental car companies (such as Alamo, Avis, Enterprise, Budget, National, Thrifty, etc) in order to get you the best deal they can.

Advantages of reserving through DHCR:

  • No payment required to make a reservation. Payment for your rental car is due at the time of pick-up
  • No cancellation fees

Costco Travel

Costco is yet another valuable resource for car rentals, however, this service is limited to only Costco Warehouse Members. Much like when reserving through Discount Hawaii Car Rental (above) there is no payment required to make a car rental reservation, nor is there a fee to cancel a reservation.

Advantages of reserving through Costco:

  • Often there are special promotions available only to Costco members (free additional driver, Costco Cash card, etc.)
  • No cost to reserve
  • No cancellation fees
