We had an amazing vacation and 7101 HBR was the perfect home base for our daily adventures. This island is absolutely stunning. We loved the convenience of having breakfast in our room, walking down to the beach, taking a quick dip in the jacuzzi, a quick drive to some of the best snorkel spots and restaurants on the island. Thank you Lisa and family for sharing your place with us! Mahalo, Jennifer + Scott

Loved our stay here at HBR (our 2nd time here, first time in this condo unit). We loved the view (better view than our 1st visit I think!) + the privacy of the end unit. We spent every morning watching the sun come up over the mountains + ocean, drinking coffee on the lanai. It was great having the mini-fridge + other amenities - we made foil dinners + fish tacos using the BBQ - fun! We also had a great day out using the boogie boards. We enjoyed the cozy decor + incredible scenery, falling asleep to the sound of waves + waking up to the birds and roosters. And although we spent most of days out enjoying all Kauai has to offer, we really appreciated coming back every evening to a nice place, so thank you. We don't want to leave! Thank you so much! We enjoyed our stay very much. We enjoyed that it was more than just a hotel room with a couch, fridge, and beach accessories (snorkel and boogie boards at no extra cost). We had a good view and were a short walk to the pools. The Resort was lovely, but the only down side was that the extra resort fees - $5 a day was a little annoying, later we found out that these fees were actually pretty reasonable for Kauai (some hotels charge $15 a day just to park!). The only other minor negative was the parking could be hard to find if you arrived late in the evening, but they let us park on the circle at the front desk when the lot was full one time. Lisa, the owner, was very professional and easy to get in touch with. Overall, it was a good choice for us and no problems with this particular unit (just a few minor annoyances with the resort)! It was stress free for us!

My wife, son, and I traveled to Kauai for a wedding nearby and opted to skip the expensive resorts nearby in favor of this very tidy VRBO studio. The location of HBR, for what we wanted to do and see, was perfect though everyone has different geo-needs. We realized quickly that without a restaurant on-site, or at a minimum a poolside grill, we would've been better off renting a unit with a kitchen (esp. with a 3.5yr old!), but we made do with the microwave, toaster, and mini-fridge :) The shared beach with the St. Regis was perfect, the dipping pool right around the corner was awesome, and the nene geese that visited and fed out back were a special treat. If you're a couple looking for a quiet hideaway, and you anticipate driving to dine out for most meals in Princeville or Hanalei Bay town (you can get a cart ride from staff to the beach then dine at the poolside grill or walk up to dinner at the SR), this is a perfect unit for you. If you'd like the option of preparing meals on-site, best to upgrade to the unit w/kitchenette next door, you'll appreciate it! Once the Bali Hai restaurant is rebuilt and the poolside grill is operating too, the HBR will be an absolute best-kept-secret at the North End.

The trip to Hawaii was a last minute plan. Lisa was very helpful and gave us a great deal for our one week stay. Our condo was clean and well-equipped. You will find literally everything you would want during your stay from toiletries to basic food equipment. She had even provided a lot of beach stuff for us to use on our stay. The view from the condo is so beautiful that we have decided to frame a picture of it. The hotel is very easy to access especially if your trip is planned around activities in the north and central part of Kauai. Even though Poipu is the most famous beach in Kauai, we spent most of our time in the Hanalei Bay Beach, the one near Hanalei Cafe and the central part near Kapaa for shopping and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. The resort has great staff, an awesome pool, neat condos with breathtaking views.
